They are the ones who guide all of us – cities, nations, and even towns. As if their plate is not full enough, they are also in charge of managing the earthly duties of the angels below them. Israfil is a virtue
The Hebrew name for this angelic creature is Israfil. The cherub’s name means “flying bird.” The plural form, Israfil, refers to a group of two wings that stands in front of God’s throne. In biblically accurate angel descriptions, the cherubim are described as “living creatures.” Besides being a symbol of God’s divine presence, cherubs have various other meanings.
The general belief is that they exist to guard the garden of Eden, especially the tree of life. The cherubim having numerous faces have this almost Chimera feel but the human face is something more akin to a Sphynx. According to the Christian angel hierarchy, seraphim hold the highest rank. In art, the four-winged cherubim are painted in blue to symbolize the sky, while the six-winged seraphim are painted in red to symbolize fire. The prophet Ezekiel’s vision of cherubim is depicted in the Book of Ezekiel in which they are portrayed as having four faces — one of an eagle, one a human, one an ox, and finally a lion.
They believed to appear in the form of a chariot of fire that carried the prophet Elijah to heaven. From bible accurate angels , we can gather that two of these six wings were used to cover their faces, two to cover their feet and the last two they used to fly. The second passage describes them almost as cheerleaders who fly around the throne of God spreading the word of his glory. The Hebrew Bible mentions the word Cherubim almost one hundred times, but their purpose is still fairly ambiguous.

Biblically Accurate Angels refers to jokes about how spiritual messengers and attendants of God are described in the Christian Bible versus how they are typically portrayed in Western art. On the flip side there is a popular claim that the common portrayal of angels as human in appearance is inaccurate. It’s specifically the Pretty Boy with wings that is wrong. In the Bible, angels with obvious inhuman qualities always had at least a few of them.
